Power consumption has become a serious concern in the semiconductor industry. Across semiconductor segments that include the mobile, networking and compute spaces, and across a range of devices from system-on-chips (SOCs) to  FPGAs, power must be addressed as a first order design parameter.  In every phase of the design flow from architecture to physical layout, it becomes vital to optimize the power components of a design.   Reducing power paves the way for tremendous gains both for semiconductor end-users and for the environment at large.  For example in the laptop and mobile space, power savings directly translate to extensions in battery life.  Conversely in datacenters and server farms,  power savings can have a huge impact on cooling and energy costs.

PwrLite, Inc was founded with a mission to minimize power consumption in semiconductor devices.  By embracing eco-friendly principles, it aspires to make the world a greener place. We adopt a holistic approach to address the power problem across a spectrum of devices.  Our suite of unique solutions enables semiconductor designers to (i) analyze and estimate power on their designs, and (ii) incorporate design optimizations that result in significant power savings on their devices. Our goal is to provide our customers with a power savings of about 30% on their designs.
