PwrLite, Inc. is on the lookout to hire motivated and energetic individuals. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced and highly respected engineering team, that brings together a unique blend of architecture and design knowledge with EDA algorithm and tool development skills.  The team includes several PhDs who have delivered both complex microprocessors and SOCs at companies such as P.A. Semi, AMD, Sun, and RMI; and state-of-art CAD tools and methodologies at companies such as Cadence and Mentor.

Senior Software Architect

Engineering tasks include specification, design, prototype and development of new software along with enhancements and maintenance of existing code. It is essential that candidates have a strong desire to learn and explore new technologies, demonstrate excellent analysis and problem solving skills, and show a commitment to deliver high quality production software.

Key Requirements:

• BS, MS or PhD with experience in developing and maintaining complex software in C/C++
• Proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
• Good knowledge of digital logic design and hardware verification.
• Well-versed in UNIX scripting and hardware design languages (Verilog/VHDL)
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Senior Applications Engineer

Engineering tasks include specification and development of methodologies and flows to optimize and verify customer designs using PwrLite solutions.  The candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with  PwrLite's engineering team, customers and partners to develop new cutting-edge solutions in the area of low power design.   Candidate must demonstrate excellent scripting and problem solving skills, and deliver on all commitments to our customers.

Key Requirements:

• BS or MS with experience in chip design and verification
  
• Proficient in use of commercial EDA design and verification tools
  
• Excellent knowledge of both scripting and hardware design languages (Verilog/VHDL)
• Knowledge of transistor-level circuit analysis and operation is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
